2. Information we may receive

  • Your name, email address and messages you send to PlayR.
  • Beta details you choose to provide, such as device model, operating system and how you use performance software.
  • Purchase and licence information needed to supply and manage a licence, such as name, email, country, order reference, licence status and activation count.
  • Technical information you deliberately send to support, such as screenshots, diagnostic reports or sample files.

2A. Protected website contact and essential security technology

The website uses Cloudflare Turnstile to reduce automated contact, spam and abuse. Turnstile may process limited technical information needed to assess whether a form submission is made by a genuine visitor. Beta tester applications are submitted through Formspree, which processes the information supplied in the form so it can be delivered to PlayR and made available in the PlayR Formspree account. The separate support contact form currently uses a Cloudflare Worker to verify the security check and prepare an email in the visitor's own email app.

PlayR does not use advertising or marketing cookies and does not use website visitors’ information for advertising or behavioural profiling. Essential security technologies may operate where necessary to protect the forms. Further details are available in the Cookie Policy.

3. Information stored by the app

PlayR stores show and application information on your own device, including playlists, Intermission playlists, track settings, notes, automation, selected folders, licence status and preferences. The current pre-release diagnostics option does not automatically transmit diagnostic data. Data is sent only when you deliberately provide it to support.

4. How information is used

  • To reply to support and beta enquiries.
  • To provide, activate, validate and manage PlayR licences.
  • To process purchases and maintain transaction records.
  • To investigate faults, improve reliability and protect the licensing system.
  • To meet legal, accounting and tax obligations.

5. Service providers

PlayR intends to use Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record and licence-service provider. Payment details are handled by the payment provider rather than stored directly by PlayR. Formspree is used to receive beta tester applications. Email, website hosting, security and other essential providers may process limited information on our behalf where needed to provide those services.

6. Retention

Support and beta correspondence is retained only as long as reasonably needed. Purchase, tax and licence records may be retained for the periods required by law and for the life of the licence.

7. Your rights

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or a portable copy of your personal information. You may also complain to the relevant data-protection authority.

8. Changes

This policy may be updated as the website, licensing system or software changes. The effective date above will be revised when a material update is published.
